About The Position

The Project Manager supports the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC) Academic Network Labor Contract to administer, maintain, secure, and accredit the DLIFLC Academic Network, which provides the IT environment for 100% of the DLIFLC teaching and instructing for all students, staff, faculty, and guests in a learning environment at the unclassified level.

Requirements

  • Educational requirements include BA/BS from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 5+ years experience or substitute with AA/AS with 7+ years experience or substitute with 9 years+ experience with Project Management.
  • Require anyone of the following IAT Level II (CCNA Security, CSA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP) Certification.
  • Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM) required.
  • Must be knowledgeable and/or experienced with widely successful Waterfall and Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, and Automated Testing.
  • Must be experienced with project planning and facilitating the complete life cycle of projects with competing availability, priorities, and multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Upholds, defends, coaches and mentors sound agile practices and values.
  • Responsible for guiding the development/sustainment of an agile team into a self-organized, effective development/sustainment unit with a sustainable cadence.
  • Duties include identifying, understanding, and documenting functional requirements and user stories.
