About The Position

Seeking IT Project Manager for the Division of Child Support to lead the design, development and implementation of various information system transformation projects. Activities include but are not limited to: • Providing strategic direction to the agency. • Assisting with defining strategic direction of enterprise level IT implementations. • Defining business and technological requirements by consulting with product owner, subject matter experts, and scrum teams to define business needs and objectives. • Providing project management of highly complex large scale enterprise projects and smaller scale projects. • Leading and coordinating efforts of development teams and vendors to ensure solutions are implemented successfully. • Ensuring project governance and monitoring controls are in place. • Ensuring project design, development, and implementation are on time and budget. • Mentoring state personnel in project management and over time potentially train state resources to take over this function.

Requirements

  • PMP Certification
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of child support program policies, procedures, and business practice
  • Experience on child support system modernization projects
  • 5+ years of experience successfully managing IT solutions
  • Knowledge of various software development methodologies (agile, waterfall, DevOps, etc.)
  • Experience in successfully applying project management and project governance principles
