About The Position

GTI Fabrication is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Project Manager to support the day-to-day execution of manufacturing projects. In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring project timelines, budgets, and deliverables stay on track through coordination with cross-functional teams. The Project Manager serves as the internal point person for executing predefined plans, communicating with stakeholders, and resolving issues during the production lifecycle. This role is ideal for professionals with 5–8 years of experience in manufacturing or production project management, with strong communication, scheduling, and analytical skills.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of experience in project management within a manufacturing or production environment
  • Strong knowledge of project coordination, scheduling, and execution
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and project tracking tools such as Smartsheet or MS Project
  • Ability to manage multiple active projects in a fast-paced, production-driven setting

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with metal fabrication, modular construction, or containerized structures
  • Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)
  • Exposure to Power BI or Tableau for dashboard and status reporting
  • Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma certification a plus

Responsibilities

  • Drive daily execution of active projects, ensuring alignment with predefined scope, schedule, and budget
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Fabrication, Quality, and Logistics teams to maintain workflow and address execution gaps
  • Track production progress and proactively identify risks or delays; escalate issues when needed
  • Maintain and update detailed project schedules, task lists, and work breakdown structures
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during the execution phase
  • Provide timely project updates, coordinate review meetings, and manage escalations professionally
  • Ensure clear documentation of delivery timelines, responsibilities, and contract terms
  • Verify that all client-supplied materials, shipping expectations, and documentation are accounted for and fulfilled
  • Maintain accurate project documentation including status reports, meeting notes, and change orders
  • Collaborate with Business Unit Managers to ensure scope and deliverables align with client contracts
  • Monitor and report on performance metrics such as timeline adherence, throughput, and issue resolution
  • Support continuous improvement by documenting lessons learned and project outcomes
