Enica Engineering, a division of Willdan Group Inc, provides services built on its industry-leading controls expertise and unique, hands-on project delivery. We offer services in project development, building automation engineering, control system optimization, energy metering, and field engineering services. Our clients include major medical campuses, universities, hospitals, and pharmaceutical and industrial firms in the greater New York area. The Enica Engineering team is seeking a high performing, proactive Project Manager who can self-start and deliver high value to the client. The Project Manager needs to be hyper-organized, schedule-focused, and a strong communicator who can collaborate directly with client stakeholders in Senior Management Positions on a daily basis.

  • Manage multiple projects on an ongoing basis and deliver high quality projects on time and under budget.
  • Manage an internal team of high-performing engineering professionals.
  • Oversee the delivery of soft deliverables such as reports and design documents.
  • Track scope, schedule, and budget plan vs actual.
  • Provide consistent internal project reporting to upper management.
  • Collaborate with clients, project managers, and technical teams.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Experience managing an internal team of high-performing engineering professionals.
  • Experience managing delivery of soft deliverables (reports, design documents, etc.).
  • Desire for continuous self-improvement and to grow into senior management positions.
  • Ability to track scope, schedule, budget plan vs actual.
  • Understanding of concepts such as % complete, revenue forecasting, and accrual accounting.
  • Diligent, hard working, and detail focused.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Current Covid and Flu Vaccination may be required.
  • Working knowledge with Building Management Systems/Building Automation Systems (BMS/BAS).
  • Working knowledge of commercial building HVAC infrastructure (chillers, boilers, air handling units, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of NY/NJ utility incentive programs (ConEd, NYSERDA, NJ SmartStart).
  • Energy Project Finance and Funding Methods.
