About The Position
ZAP Engineering is seeking a Project Manager to join our team in Bethlehem, PA. This full-time position is integral to our project management department, reporting directly to the Vice President of Projects. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and managing the execution of engineering and construction projects across various sectors, including oil & gas, heavy industrial, mining, and manufacturing. The role requires a hands-on approach, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. In this position, you will manage the proposal process, assist the business development team in scoping projects, and develop project budgets. You will also maintain relationships with clients, manage client expectations, and oversee communication between clients and internal teams. Your leadership will be crucial in ensuring that project deliverables meet the required quality standards and that internal resources are effectively managed. The Project Manager will also be responsible for project reporting, including accounting and internal reporting tasks, and will assist the team with earned value management reporting. You will manage external stakeholder communications, including vendors and contractors, and ensure that all project objectives are met. This role requires a strong ability to negotiate and manage change requests and budget deviations, making it essential for the Project Manager to have excellent communication and leadership skills.
