About The Position

The Project Manager plays a pivotal role in leading complex information technology and infrastructure projects that support Applied Medical's global operations. This position manages full project lifecycles, from planning and resource allocation through execution and delivery, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and technical standards. The Project Manager partners closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and quality assurance, to deliver high-impact technology initiatives that enhance efficiency, reliability, and innovation across Applied Medical.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of project management experience, preferably within information technology or infrastructure environments.
  • Advanced experience managing application development projects and cross-functional technical initiatives.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and software, including scheduling, tracking, and reporting systems.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to diverse audiences.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing software and application development projects within a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies, Agile frameworks, and enterprise system integrations.
  • Certification in project management such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM).
  • Experience collaborating with global teams on large-scale, multi-year projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee multifaceted information technology and infrastructure projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet strategic objectives.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans covering all lifecycle phases, including scope, schedule, resources, and project financials.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks by implementing proactive contingency plans and maintaining issue resolution processes.
  • Manage project deliverables, documentation, and change control, ensuring all outcomes align with scope, schedule, and Applied Medical quality standards.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to prioritize tasks and report progress effectively.
  • Oversee vendor partnerships, service agreements, and technical integrations to support successful project outcomes.
  • Facilitate effective communication across all project levels, including leadership briefings, project documentation, and stakeholder updates.
  • Mentor team members by sharing project management best practices, tools, and methodologies to foster professional development.
