Manages projects from planning through delivery. Liaises between project members, cross-functional teams, external vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure deliverables, requirements, schedules, cost, and meeting plans are communicated. Utilizes appropriate tools to plan project timelines, tasks, milestones, and deadlines. Communicates schedule and changes to all stakeholders. Plans and facilitates project meetings to align the project team to methods and goals and to track project tasks. Prepares agendas, meeting notes, and project summaries. Monitors task completion status to identify at risk project tasks and to develop mitigation plans. Allocates resources, budgets, and hours to the project and adjusts allocations when necessary.

  • Support the Senior Project Manager in managing the full project lifecycle, including engineering, construction, commissioning, and handover of industrial facilities related to ponded ash beneficiation.
  • Utilize SAP to track and manage project budgets, ensuring costs are within allocated limits and preparing financial reports.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project, tracking all phases of project delivery, from design and construction to commissioning and operational handover.
  • Assist in the coordination of construction activities, ensuring that work is completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Support commissioning efforts, ensuring that systems and facilities are tested and verified according to design specifications and operational requirements.
  • Prepare regular project progress reports, covering schedule, budget, and project status, and present findings to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Monitor and track project risks, including schedule delays, cost overruns, and technical challenges, and assist in developing mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with engineering, construction, and operations teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination across all project phases.
  • Facilitate regular project meetings, documenting action items, and ensuring timely follow-up on outstanding tasks.
  • Ensure the proper handover of projects to operations teams, ensuring all required documentation and training are completed for ongoing operation and maintenance.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field or 5 years of equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience with industrial facilities, especially in the areas of environmental engineering or beneficiation systems.
  • Experience in the commissioning and handover process of large-scale projects to operations teams.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations in industrial project settings.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google platform, and facility management software preferred.
  • Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, CAPM) or equivalent experience is an added advantage.
