Epsilon Systems Solutions, Inc. is seeking a full-time Project Manager in San Diego, CA. The role involves planning, organizing, staffing, coordinating, directing, and controlling projects under contract, while developing customer relationships to secure ongoing and new business opportunities. The Project Manager will track progress towards financial, scheduled, technical, and performance objectives for assigned projects, and support business development objectives.

  • Directs and evaluates performance of assigned program tasks in terms of quality, cost control, and achievement of objectives.
  • Ensures all contract deliverables are of high quality and delivered on time.
  • Serves as primary point of contact for information to and from the customer.
  • Manages personnel including hiring, training, and performance reviews for junior project managers and direct report employees.
  • Plans, directs, and monitors assigned project budgets, including review and approval of invoices.
  • Strives to increase business opportunities and develops business proposals and financial performance reports.
  • Implements program information management systems and controls to carry out program tasks.
  • Determines work schedules, prioritizes tasks, and implements procedures for work activities.
  • Coordinates and prepares materials for meetings and reviews, including program management and technical reviews.
  • Keeps upper management informed regarding project status and any issues within assigned programs.
  • Bachelor's Degree in STEM with emphasis in business, finances, or marketing.
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of professional work-related experience.
  • Familiarity with US Navy systems and commands.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Microsoft Project.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning and resource allocation.
  • Effective oral, written, and presentation skills.
  • Strong customer focus and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Master's Degree in Business, Information Systems, or Engineering Management.
  • Current Project Management Institute certification (PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP).
  • Active Duty and Government Service US Navy experience.
  • Competitive salary range of $75,000 to $95,000 annually.
