About The Position
KCDC is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced project manager who shares our passion for public service. This is an exciting opportunity to join us on several major initiatives that will change the Knoxville landscape while helping to further KCDC’s mission to provide the highest quality affordable housing. Under the direction of the Chief Strategy Officer, you will provide project management and coordination to take dynamic projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management methodologies, excellent communication skills, a passion for delivering results, and empathy for service. Projects will range in topics including social service partnerships, neighborhood development, community engagement, and capital fundraising mostly through grant writing. Immediate projects include working with partners for the benefit of youth exiting foster care, veterans, and elderly.
