About The Position

The Project Manager role at TSR Consulting Services, Inc. involves overseeing complex projects within the Credit Risk and syndicated loans function for a leading financial services company. This long-term contract position requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership and communication skills to manage regulatory initiatives and ensure effective program execution across various stakeholders globally.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in strategy development and execution related to regulatory projects.
  • Experience working in a global, dynamic environment.
  • Project Management certification preferred (PMP).
  • Strong business domain knowledge across Credit Risk/Commercial lending products.
  • Proficient use of JIRA and Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint, Project).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills.
  • Attention to detail and superior planning & organization skills.
  • Pro-active, flexible, and a team player.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with a major consulting firm, including senior engagement management roles.
  • Experience in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including Agile project work.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic roadmap to drive execution of credit regulatory initiatives such as WCR (Wholesale Credit Risk) and SNC (Shared National Credit).
  • Drive program and project execution effectively applying project management best practices, utilizing iterative and agile methodologies.
  • Organize, prepare materials and drive various program and project related forums.
  • Record meeting summaries and follow-up actions for distribution to relevant stakeholders.
  • Assist in high priority regulatory ad hoc projects by identifying and structuring problems, analyzing root causes, and developing solutions.
  • Effectively partner with key stakeholders and subject matter experts across Technology and Businesses.
  • Drive tactical and strategic planning to ensure program corrective actions plans are met.
  • Identify, prioritize, and own execution of opportunities to drive operational efficiency.
  • Demonstrate ability to identify potential risk issues and escalate them promptly.
  • Support the development of detailed user stories, requirements, data and system flows as part of requirement gathering.
  • Drive change management strategy through execution of strategic initiatives.
  • Maintain awareness of changing industry trends, competition and regulations that impact the lending business.
