About The Position

The Project Manager at Southern Pride Custom Cabinets is a leadership role focused on managing multiple high-end commercial architectural millwork projects from inception to completion. The position requires a decisive team leader who can create value for both the client and the company while navigating the complexities of custom projects. The role emphasizes project planning, budgeting, and continuous improvement in a climate-controlled environment.

Requirements

• 5-10 years' experience in commercial millwork
• 5+ years' project management experience
• OSHA 30 certification is a plus
• Excellent time management and critical thinking skills
• Strong leadership skills
• Ability to read architectural drawings and blueprints
• Creative and theming project experience is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam
• Knowledge of cabinet-making techniques, tools, equipment, and materials common to the carpentry trade
• Skill in estimating time and material requirements for assigned work projects
• Skill in supervising the work of others
• Willingness to work more than 40 hours per week, including weekends and holidays as required

Responsibilities

• Plan, budget, manage, and document all aspects of assigned project(s)
• Drive performance, reduce variation, decrease waste, increase speed, and champion continuous improvement principles
• Provide updates and ongoing analysis of each project to the leadership team
• Serve as the primary liaison between the company, clients, and subcontractors for assigned projects
