The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of commercial construction projects at Foushée. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The Project Manager will manage the full cycle of construction, from marketing and preconstruction to project estimates, schedules, and the construction process until final closeout. The position emphasizes building relationships, promoting company values, and creating a positive environment for both customers and team members.

  • Manage individual projects from award to completion.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in management and leadership skills.
  • Interface with clients, design professionals, and consultants.
  • Lead preconstruction efforts and establish cost estimates throughout the design process.
  • Solicit subcontractor bid packages and conduct scope reviews and negotiations.
  • Direct activities related to financial projections, change orders, submittals, RFI's, and billings.
  • Analyze weekly labor reports and maintain construction schedules and material procurement.
  • Ensure proper safety procedures are followed and conduct weekly safety meetings.
  • Train, mentor, and manage team members, identifying strengths and weaknesses.
  • Track new business opportunities and maintain long-term relationships.
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience in the commercial construction industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficient in preconstruction planning and estimating.
  • Experience with project management software and Microsoft Project Scheduling.
  • Proficient in Plan Grid, Bluebeam, and On Screen take-off software or equivalent.
