About the position

As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of client projects by overseeing the delivery of customer requirements within time and budget constraints. This position requires a deep understanding of a client's business needs, as well as the ability to recommend and implement appropriate solutions. Project Managers utilize extensive consulting skills and Customer Relationship Management knowledge to analyze client business objectives and processes, ultimately formulating and presenting solutions with the support of technical or professional services teams.

Responsibilities

• Utilizing project management tools such as Microsoft Project and Teams, ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, etc. for effective task tracking and prioritization.
• Perform project assessments to ensure best practices are being followed according to PMBOK and industry standards.
• Lead and oversee client projects to ensure successful delivery of customer requirements within specified time and budget constraints.
• Assess client business needs and requirements, utilizing consulting skills and Customer Relationship Management knowledge to identify and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Ensure all deliverables, documentation, and artifacts adhere to policies, processes, and templates as applicable including project plans, schedules, project charter, project management plan, Risk management plan, communications management plan, and change management plan.
• Capable of developing work breakdown structures (WBS) and developing comprehensive project management plans.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing relationships and effectively communicating project status, risks, and recommendations.
• Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering collaboration and driving accountability for project deliverables.
• Conduct regular project reviews and evaluations to assess progress and identify areas for improvement, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure delivery of technical solutions that meet all the agency's needs in a timely, cost-effective and transparent fashion.
• Implementing Agile practices to streamline workflow processes and enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, Project Management, or Information Technology.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Program management, project management, within a technical enterprise environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in Customer Relationship Management and consulting skills, with a proven ability to analyze client business needs and recommend solutions.
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, execute, and monitor complex projects within specified time and budget constraints.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and project teams at all levels of the organization.
• Leadership capabilities, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve project objectives.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) Certifications is required.
• Must be willing to obtain a public trust clearance.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
