The Project Manager at Athena will play a crucial role in collaborating with clients and internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects. This position requires a blend of strategic thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication to manage complex projects within the Broadband industry. The Project Manager will be responsible for defining project deliverables, coordinating workstreams, and facilitating meetings to keep all stakeholders engaged and informed.

  • Understand client goals and strategic vision to define project deliverables and create actionable plans.
  • Communicate timelines for delivery, highlight risks, and recommend mitigations.
  • Coordinate workstreams to deliver on tasks and action items.
  • Facilitate meetings and working sessions for clients and internal project teams.
  • Develop project reports, executive summaries, and other management artifacts to clearly communicate project status.
  • Strong understanding of the Broadband industry.
  • Proven experience working in a client-facing role.
  • Ability to bring clarity, visibility, and strategic alignment in projects and teams.
  • Successful management of multi-workstream projects and ability to unify teams for a shared purpose.
  • Expertise in documenting process flows, communications (RACI) plans, and change management.
  • Strong capability in developing and presenting progress and performance reports and executive readouts.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Proven leadership in managing projects and external stakeholders.
  • Organizational prowess in collaborating with internal and external teams of varying disciplines.
  • Skill in synthesizing complex ideas into measurable action.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Command of MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Excellent time management and ability to prioritize actions.
  • Effective use of email and calendar tools to ensure participation for in-person and online sessions.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
  • Ability to be flexible and manage project pivots as needed.
  • Education, degree, or experience that brings an enriched perspective to work.
  • 4-6 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience in a consulting or agency environment.
