The successful candidate will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage client relationships, and oversee the planning and execution of civil, stormwater, and water/wastewater projects. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing water/wastewater infrastructure projects
  • Proven experience with hydraulic modeling and civil design tools (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D)
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Willingness to travel periodically (approx. 15% or more)

Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation of engineering reports, design documents, and technical specifications
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources across multidisciplinary teams
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication and delivery
  • Mentor and develop junior engineering staff
  • Serve as lead engineer on stormwater and wastewater projects
  • Ensure adherence to standard engineering practices and documentation requirements
  • Evaluate evolving water, wastewater, and stormwater regulations and their municipal impact
  • Provide technical support on design elements related to resiliency and sustainability
  • Interpret engineering drawings and specifications while coordinating closely with internal design teams
