CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager – Water/Wastewater to join our CES Team at a client site in Orlando, FL. In this role, you will serve as a trusted partner to owners, designers, and project teams, providing strategic cost estimating and cost management support from early planning through design and construction—helping projects stay aligned with scope, schedule, and budget. What You'll Do: Oversee every phase of cost estimating projects, from planning to design and implementation, ensuring quality and efficiency at every step Build and nurture client partnerships, understanding their needs and delivering creative, cost-effective solutions Manage contracts, purchase orders, project documentation, and daily correspondence with clients and subcontractors Take charge of project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash management, while ensuring timely payments and accurate reporting Lead monthly project review meetings, communicating progress and updates to clients, management, and project teams Develop and implement health and safety plans, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements Embrace a “seller/doer” mindset, actively developing new business opportunities and expanding services provided What You Bring: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, science, planning, engineering management, or a related field required Minimum of 7 years of industry experience required; minimum of 4 years of project management experience required Water/wastewater or municipality utility experience preferred Proven ability to manage project accounting processes (budgeting, forecasts, and cash management) as well as prepare proposals, project plans, extra work authorizations and project closeout documents Demonstrated experience managing client relationships, interpreting contract requirements, and overseeing multiple concurrent projects Experience with Microsoft Office required; knowledge of MS Project, Primavera P6, and/or Deltek Vision preferred Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt style for various audiences Experience leveraging problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment Ability to travel as needed and work collaboratively with project teams Consulting experience highly preferred PMP, PE or equivalent professional license preferred Why You'll Love It Here: Grow your career on a collaborative team delivering accurate, high‑impact cost solutions Enjoy a flexible work environment with local and occasional travel Make a real impact by helping project teams stay on budget and make informed decisions Curious about the impactful work our CES team is doing? Salary Range: $105,000 - $120,000 Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
