Requirements

  • A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Civil, Biosystems, or Environmental Engineering
  • 7+ years of experience in water resource and stormwater management.
  • A minimum of 3 years of project management experience
  • Current PE license or the ability to obtain one within 6 months
  • Valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and the ability to work at a variety of locations
  • Hydrologic Modeling
  • Hydraulic Modeling (1D and 2D)
  • ESRI Products
  • FEMA LOMC Submittals

  • Proven project management experience
  • Experience managing, developing, and mentoring staff
  • Desire to be involved in business development activities
  • The ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and terrains associated with site visits and other project related activities.
  • Excellent organizational and communications skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as on a project team with other members.

Responsibilities

  • Works with clients and project teams to determine and develop project objectives, scopes, budgets, deliverables, and schedules.
  • Maintains client communication and project documentation.
  • Plans, coordinates, and oversees project activities to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Anticipates project challenges and advises team on alternative solutions.
  • Ensures project deliveries meet quality standards.
  • Mentors and evaluates staff.
  • Assists in the training of staff in standard practices and procedures.
  • Analyzes project profitability, revenue and billing rates, and monthly project invoices.
  • Conduct business development and develop client relationships related to floodplain and stormwater management.
  • Travel to client and project locations for submittal reviews, field verification of models, proposal presentations, and other client management activities.
