About The Position

Our Project Manager - Water Group position in Houston, TX, offers an exciting opportunity to engage in resilient engineering designs for the United States infrastructure. As part of our water infrastructure team, which has been recognized as #1 in Water by Engineering News-Record for 20 consecutive years, you will play a crucial role in managing a variety of infrastructure-related projects. These projects primarily focus on the planning and design of water, wastewater, and stormwater pipelines, treatment facilities, pump stations, and storage facilities. In this role, you will assist with the execution of projects from the conceptual planning phases through to final plans, specifications, estimates, bid packages, and construction support services. You will be responsible for writing technical specifications and reports for infrastructure-related projects, ensuring technical accuracy, and maintaining existing client relationships while developing new project opportunities. Your ability to identify alternatives, resolve technical issues, and interface with other disciplines will be essential in achieving project goals. You will also be tasked with planning, coordinating, and executing work in a safe, timely, cost-effective, and compliant manner, while achieving financial targets related to project profitability and utilization. As a leader, you will provide mentorship to junior engineers, fostering their professional growth and development within the team. This position requires a proactive approach to managing multiple priorities, organizing time and projects, tracking budgets, and meeting deadlines, all while contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment.
