About The Position

The position is based in The Woodlands, TX, and involves managing project requirements, including costs, timing, scope, and quality issues. The role requires working closely with the COO and the Regional Integration Manager to manage every step of a new project and coordinate activities among involved teams and departments. Maintaining strong relationships with clients and optimizing information flows within the organization is crucial.

Requirements

  • Engineering University degree (electrical or mechanical).
  • Proven working experience (4 to 7 years) in Project Management, preferably in the Energy or Industrial Sector in General Contractors Companies.
  • Knowledge in Electrical design (preferential requirement).
  • Experience in managing project execution phases on field.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with clients and suppliers.
  • Technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in electrical and mechanical.
  • Capability to provide valuable technical support during the pre-sales phase.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Availability for business trips to project sites across the country.
  • Availability to visit other foreign AB Branches as business may require.
  • Good knowledge of MS Project.
  • Availability for training in Italy for a period of 2/3 weeks.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in definition of project scope and objectives with all relevant stakeholders.
  • Identify vendors for local supply necessary for the execution of the project, issue RFQs, support internal procurement processes, and finalize local purchases.
  • Ensure that project deliverables are on time, within scope, and within budget by monitoring and tracking.
  • Prepare weekly process reports.
  • Manage change orders, project schedule, and project costs.
  • Report and escalate to management as needed.
  • Review the quality of work completed with the project team regularly to ensure it meets project standards.
  • Write reports on project management.
  • Successfully manage relationships with clients and all stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Coordinate commissioning activities and schedules.
