About the position

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to oversee Risk Based Quality Management (RBQM) projects within our rapidly growing Professional Services-oriented Operations team. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects that support clinical research or pharmaceutical development, managing cross-disciplinary project teams, and ensuring project goals are met from initiation to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of RBQM projects.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resources.
  • Manage project finances and resources to ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional project teams and manage their deliverables.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners including clinical research organizations, sponsors, and vendors.
  • Ensure all project deliverables are of high quality and exceed client's expectations in compliance with Quality Management procedures.
  • Actively lead and contribute to the development of highly effective training plans and content, and as project lead, ensure other project team members do the same.
  • Provide basic training to clients on CluePoints solution.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and guidelines.
  • Maintain clear communication and provide frequent updates to project stakeholders.
  • Manage customer escalations effectively, with follow-up and closure.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to senior management.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a business, technical, or relevant life sciences field; advanced degree is a plus.
  • 5-7 years of experience as a Project Manager ideally in the pharmaceutical or clinical trial industry.
  • Experience working for a SaaS company would also be considered.
  • Some knowledge of clinical trial phases, regulatory guidelines (e.g., FDA, EMA), and pharmaceutical development processes.
  • Some knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and regulations.
  • Some financial acumen with experience managing project budgets.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to resolve conflicts and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Capable of weighing risks and making informed decisions that align with CluePoints values and strategy.
  • Aptitude for data analytics and basic statistical concepts.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with an emphasis on demonstrating professional and respectful interactions with all organization levels.
  • Leadership and people mentoring skills is preferred.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently, maintaining project schedule and quality deliverables in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to travel for business.
