About The Position

Eversource is looking for a Project Manager, Transmission located in Hooksett, NH. This role operates with a high level of independence, managing transmission projects in New Hampshire to ensure all phases of approved projects are completed efficiently and within scope, on schedule, and within budget. The individual will work closely with personnel throughout the Eversource Company to engineer, design, site, permit, and construct assigned projects. Primary duties include overall responsibility for the management of all aspects of projects including the coordination of regulatory approvals and interface with regulators and local elected officials and town department managers; managing the development and process for evaluation of bid documents for engineering, design, and construction, as well as for the procurement of material and equipment; and ensuring all aspects of the projects are documented and completed in accordance with company policies and all regulations and laws.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (preferred), Finance, Business, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of five (5) to ten (10) years of related experience required.
  • Demonstrated ability to investigate and solve problems, analyze data, and write effective reports.
  • Ability to manage time, set priorities, and make decisions.
  • Effective communication skills, including active listening, speaking, and writing skills.
  • Familiarity with Project Management methodologies is highly desirable.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree and Project Management class work are desirable.
  • Professional Engineer's (PE) License and formal project management (PMP) certification are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Manage transmission projects to ensure completion efficiently and within scope, on schedule, and within budget.
  • Coordinate regulatory approvals and interface with regulators and local elected officials.
  • Manage the development and evaluation of bid documents for engineering, design, and construction.
  • Ensure all project aspects are documented and completed in accordance with company policies and regulations.
  • Integrate and manage a cross-functional project team to develop appropriate project roles and responsibilities.
  • Manage planning, engineering, siting/permitting, procurement, construction, commissioning, and close-out project phases.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and communications plans.
  • Manage execution of the project plan and project change control management process.
  • Coordinate environmental assessments and necessary regulatory approvals.
  • Prepare ISO-NE project submittals and manage outage and energization plans.
  • Provide clear, concise, and comprehensive reports for management.
