About The Position

This position will serve as project manager for a state initiative to strengthen the early childhood system of care, promote mental health, and support early intervention to prevent mental health concerns in children ages 0–7.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in social work, psychology, public health, or other related field with at least 5 years of experience in project management in relevant area of assignment.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams).
  • Values the contributions of others in the work environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree in social work, psychology, public health, or other related field with more than 5 years of experience in project management in relevant area of assignment.
  • At least 5 years of experience working in early childhood systems.
  • Demonstrated skill in communication platforms, research, relationship-building and strategic planning.
  • Experience creating or facilitating collaborative groups.

Responsibilities

  • Support participating communities with implementation and ongoing coaching on project planning and evidence-based best practices for early childhood providers.
  • Provide training and technical assistance to participating communities to support the implementation of mental health best practices within a comprehensive early childhood system of care.
  • Partner and coordinate with local stakeholders and organizations within coalitions to develop strategic approaches that advance policy, infrastructure improvements, and address priority issues related to early childhood mental health.
  • Collaborate with team members, state agencies, and state oversight committees to identify funding opportunities and support policies and infrastructure that advance project activities.
  • Participate in regular project management meetings, maintain up-to-date work plans, and provide reporting to the funding agencies.
  • Collaborate with community partners to facilitate budget development, invoice review, and subaward processing in coordination with the project Principal Investigator (PI).
