About the role Key program member responsible for the overall conversion merger or merger. The Acquisition Conversion Manager oversees all technical and functional aspects of the conversion. Works directly with the client and the project team to minimize risks and issues in order to meet key milestone dates. Oversees milestones to include mapping, customer acceptance and the Conversion weekend. Acts as the main conversion contact for the bank’s leadership.

  • Ability to lead large teams with multiple objectives and requirements.
  • Solid communication skills.
  • Effective negotiator, able to compromise and find middle ground in difficult situations.
  • Knowledgeable on FIS products and processes to achieve results.
  • Problem solving skills to identify workarounds to mitigate issues in order to meet dates.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overall success of the conversion merger or merger from Program kickoff through Client turnover.
  • Leads the Conversion Management team (Administrative Support resource, Technical PM).
  • Facilitate weekly Conversion Management meetings with Client and FIS teams.
  • Provides weekly dashboard status and/or Conversion Project Status Report for conversion.
  • Participate in Program-level and internal Steering Committee meetings.
  • Owner of document sharing portal setup and education for client on tool.
  • Participates in Program-level and internal and external Steering Committee meetings.
  • Oversees Project Plan updates.
  • Planview updates and Event Manager action items, changes, risks, and issues.
  • Provides leadership in overseeing conversion milestones: Mapping, Customer Acceptance, and Conversion weekend.
  • Oversees the Change Management process for the conversion.
  • Participates in Conversion Turnover.
  • Participates in Lessons Learned process with Client and FIS teams.
