The Big Picture: The Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of technology projects, including platform migrations, software development, infrastructure upgrades and enhancements, and cross-departmental initiatives. This role emphasizes managing eCommerce and marketplace projects while leveraging agile methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet high-quality standards. Success is measured by timely project completion, stakeholder satisfaction, and the ability to resolve challenges while maintaining team alignment. Location: This position will work onsite at our Corporate Office in Sandy Springs, GA Monday - Thursday, with work from home flexibility on Fridays.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of project management experience, with a proven track record of delivering technology projects, preferably in Shopify or eCommerce environments.
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies, including Scrum and sprint planning.
  • Experience in translating business requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Trello.
  • Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to manage third-party integrations and coordinate with external vendors.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP, ScrumMaster, or similar project management certifications are highly desirable.
  • In-depth knowledge of eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce).

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage technology projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, goals, schedules, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into clear, actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized backlog items.
  • Communicate project status, updates, and risks to stakeholders across the organization, including executives, developers, QA teams, and product owners.
  • Apply agile methodologies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and facilitating daily stand-ups and retrospectives.
  • Coordinate with third-party integrators and vendors to ensure smooth integration of external systems, services, and APIs.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks by anticipating potential obstacles and creating contingency plans.
  • Monitor and report on project performance, using KPIs and other metrics to track progress, identify issues, and drive continuous improvement.
