About The Position

The IT Project Manager implements, manages and controls all project directives related to the United State Marine Corp. This position ensures the timely accomplishment of all specified requirements and works with senior management to establish program priorities. The Project Manager is responsible for all related contract personnel and operates the program according to established policies / procedures and within stipulated budgetary confinements. The successful candidate will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of support services for Azure Cloud Development and Administration, Data Engineering, Cyber Security, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and Project management. This position is 100% on-site at the Marine Corps Logistics Base in Albany, GA.

Requirements

• Must be able to pass a customer background check for access to facilities, equipment and property.
• Must have experience managing enterprise IT support projects for the Federal Government.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) required.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Federal Enterprise Architecture (FEA), CPIC, SDLC, IT Security Management, and Risk Management.
• Experience in Azure, cloud, Microsoft dynamics, etc. is preferred.
• Experience in IT that supports manufacturing processes is preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field from an accredited educational institution is preferred.
• Minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience in a Project Management role, or equivalent combination of education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all aspects of project management are carried out efficiently and effectively.
• Reviews project proposal or plans to determine timeframe, funding limitation, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project.
• Prepares project charts and schedules as needed.
• Performs job cost analysis.
• Maintains a solid customer relationship and assures customer satisfaction with the successful execution of the project.
• Manages and assists in developing and maintaining information technology programs as requested, in accordance with approved system/subsystem design requirements and specifications.
• Ensures employees expertise on multiple complex work assignments that may require innovation in determining how to accomplish the tasks.
• Coordinates responses to Requests for Proposals (RFP's) and Requests for Quotes (RFQ's).
• Implements industry best practices, project management tools and methodologies.
