Job Summary: The Project Manager Team Lead is a head of any project whose main duty is to plan, organize lead and control the project efficiently and effectively. The Project Manager Team Lead is responsible for planning the work required for a project while ensuring all deliverables are met on time. Deliverables can be required as part of the Deliverables Matrix, Module List, RFP, contract or any document where requirements are listed. The Project Manager Team Lead must manage a project in all phases from Inception to Maintenance with minimal assistance. A Project Manager Team Lead is required to have a proven record of success in your previous projects. Additional qualifications include experience in reviewing and updating proposals which might include contributing original content, conducting demos and providing training, coaching and guidance to less experienced co-workers. The Project Manager Team Lead can be called upon to participate in interviews and evaluate prospective Project Managers. When a new Project Manager arrives on the job, The Project Manager Team Lead provides orientation to acquaint them with their organization and its operating routines. In addition, the Project Manager Team Lead trains the new employees in organization and office procedures. The Project Manager Team Lead is also responsible for meeting with other department team to discuss gaps in policies, develop and implement new company policies to ensure the projects are delivered on time and at or below budget. It is a key job function to keep all department involved personnel informed of project tasks progress and any potential problems. Often, this communication takes the form of verbal communication in meetings and progress reports. In addition to the above mentioned, the Project Manager Team Lead is responsible for the Project Management of State and Regional clients and the Software Development life cycle using the GRID methodology specifically designed for the Geographic Solutions. The person would be accountable for leading and managing the implementation of workforce development software solutions for Workforce Development customers. Responsibilities will also include managing workforce development or Unemployment Insurance software products for Virtual One Stop and Virtual Labor Market Information clients in order to assess client needs, meet and exceed client expectations in terms of quality of product and service, and manage the delivery of robust software solutions. THIS IS A HYBRID POSITION. CANDIDATE WILL HAVE TO COME TO WORK AT CORPORATE OFFICE IN PALM HARBOR, FL. A MINIMUM OF 3 TIMES A WEEK. Qualifications Summary: The successful candidate will have significant workforce development/Unemployment Insurance/Labor Market Information knowledge and managerial experience. You will thrive both in an independent and team environment. You must be able to take ownership of projects and complete those projects accurately and efficiently. You must also be able to work with various internal groups and teams and have the ability to manage multiple, simultaneous projects and deadlines. The ideal candidate for this position is organized; detail oriented, has great communication skills and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will need to apply these skills in a variety of areas including, but not limited to, business analysis, requirements definition, building test plans, coordinating all resources and stakeholders, setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring, summarizing and communicating the progress of all assigned projects. You will work among a team of software engineers, developers, project managers and QA for support and collaboration of client specific deliverables.
