About The Position

Overview: Provide individual coaching and support to community residents seeking help with improving their overall financial wellness. Such support should include, but is not limited to, debt management, building savings, credit score improvement, public benefit assistance, and access to equitable mainstream financial services. Job Description Summary: Leads and manages cross-functional teams to plan, coordinate, execute, and evaluate the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program in Franklin County, ensuring the effective delivery of free tax filing services across multiple sites. Manages federal grant requirements, supervises site operations, and leads the recruitment and engagement of staff and volunteers to ensure high-quality, compliant, and accessible services. Job Description: Essential Functions: Lead the planning, coordination, and daily operations of multiple VITA program sites across Franklin County to ensure efficient and high-quality service delivery. Manage and ensure compliance with federal grant requirements, including budgeting, reporting, data tracking, and adherence to IRS VITA program standards. Recruit, train, and supervise program staff and volunteers, including tax preparers and site coordinators, to maintain adequate staffing levels throughout the tax season. Develop and maintain partnerships with community organizations, host sites, and stakeholders to support program outreach, site operations, and participant engagement. Monitor program performance by collecting and analyzing data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to enhance service quality and impact. Oversee scheduling, logistics, and resource allocation for all program locations, ensuring sites are properly staffed, equipped, and compliant with operational standards. Provide leadership, coaching, and ongoing support to staff and volunteers to foster a positive, collaborative, and mission-driven team environment. Education Requirement: Bachelor's Degree in relevant field, or equivalent experience, required. Master's Degree, preferred. Skills: Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written skills. Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to multitask and efficiently provide time management. Collaborative and team-oriented with the ability to work well independently. Experience: Three years of relevant program or project support, preferred. Requirements
