The position involves managing, overseeing, and coordinating all aspects of various projects, including the largest and most complex ones, from award through to completion. The role requires managing the execution and review of all scope of work and terms and conditions in customer contracts, as well as proactively managing project financials. This includes coordinating the schedule of values, progress billing, invoicing, material and supply procurement, monitoring committed costs, maintaining positive cash flow, and assisting in coordinating receivables. The individual will translate project requirements into detailed proposals and project implementation plans to meet customer needs, while also proactively communicating project requirements to the project team and the wider organization. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of job status, job changes, material flow, and other control records necessary for processing internal and external reports is essential. The role also involves identifying potential project risks and developing/implementing strategies to minimize impact and control deviations from estimated costs and project deadlines. Additionally, the position includes coordinating the procurement of materials, supplies, and services, performing Job Safety Audits (JSAs) in coordination with the company safety officer, and may involve direct reports and managerial responsibilities such as mentoring, coaching, performance appraisals, and salary reviews. The individual will also attend industry conferences to expand the DAC, Inc. brand in the Texas market.
