At Houston Methodist, the Project Manager position is responsible for implementing and coordinating key strategic projects according to scope and department initiative. This position routinely develops, coordinates, and completes projects from design implementation to measurement and maintenance of desired outcomes in coordination with management, developing meaningful reports to support business activities, and communicating professionally and persuasively verbally and in writing. This position monitors milestones and identifies potential barriers to assure successful execution and stabilization of processes, including monitoring and focusing on ongoing analysis of quality and financial outcomes. The Project Manager position regularly provides comprehensive communication regarding project analysis, assignment, timelines, and progress reports to the leadership. Key strategic projects and activities: PolicyTech software and document management guidelines Provide PolicyTech training course (New Leaders and entity site administrators) Maintain PolicyTech support materials on the HM intranet site Provide guidance for document management strategies (system departments, committees, councils) Department "New Leaders" course support (course planning, registration, satisfaction scores and follow-up) Department committees: preparation, notification, schedule meeting and location; meeting planning and support (materials, agenda, presentations, meeting support and follow-up) (System Clinical Policy Facilitator Committee, System Accreditation & Regulatory Affairs Committee) Mock survey program final report (compile surveyors' findings and create executive summary). Department budget: annual planning, monthly expense tracking, assess future needs. Department end of year report - summarize department performance and report to board. New department projects as identified. System Quality and Patient Safety events (project support for symposium, conference, and/or award ceremonies).
