About The Position

We are looking for a Project Manager – Supply Chain to join our Pittsburgh (Cheswick) location. Responsible for the performance of relatively small to mid-sized projects or a definable portion of larger projects in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures and guidelines. Plans, initiates and manages small to mid-sized projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives and industry standards. Defines, launches, and drives mission-critical strategic and operational initiatives in core projects. Develops and maintains detailed project plans and timelines while maintaining resources effectively. Communicates regularly with stakeholders, providing updates on project progress, milestones, and issues. Resolves a wide range of issues in imaginative and practical ways. Conducts project reviews and adapts strategies as needed to respond to changing requirements. Ensures compliance with regulatory standards and project management best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • Five (5) to seven years of related experience.
  • Experience with generator design fundamentals, including magnetic bearings.
  • Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAS, etc.).
  • Experience with Microsoft Project.
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies and techniques (5-whys, cause mapping, PFMEA, 8D, etc.).
  • Project management or project leadership experience.
  • Excellent organization, communication (written and oral) and presentation skills.
  • Project Management Professional Certification (preferred).
  • Must be US citizens due to DoD requirements.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance.
