About The Position

BAE Systems is seeking an exceptional Project Manager for an exciting opportunity to support the United States Air Force Minuteman III weapon system sustainment efforts and transition efforts to the next generation Inter-Continental Ballistic Missile (ICBM), the Sentinel. The Project Manager will provide analyst support to the Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) highly skilled team supporting ICBM Systems Directorate. Oversee and manage the operational aspects of project(s). Review status of projects and manage schedules. Assess issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring progress, intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients. This position is designated special-sensitive and requires eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), other intelligence-related Special Sensitive information, or involvement in Top Secret Special Access Programs (SAP) to fully perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. A non-disclosure agreement must be signed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience
  • Understands advance principles, concepts, and procedures of intelligence analysis, integration, and fusion to synthesize large amounts of program level and intelligence data to make recommendations to senior analysts and staff
  • Apply independent judgment in balancing the operational need for accuracy and expediency in satisfying production objectives
  • Serve as an expert for an intelligence function, process, program, or weapon system
  • Knowledge of the intelligence cycle and intelligence policy and guidance, and the structure, organization, roles and missions, and inter-relationships of the national IC, DoD, USAF, and USSF, particularly as it pertains to cyber threat collection, analysis and production capabilities and limitations
  • Knowledge of acquisition policy and guidance and the role intelligence plays throughout a weapon system’s life cycle; Acquisition Intelligence analysis mission and strategy; and the roles and responsibilities of field intelligence offices in support of USAF/USSF research laboratories, acquisition program offices, and life cycle management, nuclear, sustainment, and system testing enterprises
  • Conduct unbiased complex research, identifying appropriate available systems/data sources, and producing intelligence requirement assessments that answer specific tasks to link and leverage agency capabilities in support of consumers, customers, and client’s cyber threat and cyber risk management needs
  • Quickly assimilate disparate data, render knowledgeable and accurate assessments of the implication of such data, and make decisions, estimates, and recommendations under conditions of urgency and competing resources, based on mature judgment and experience and present and/or defend a position effectively

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a SCRM analyst and Project Manager
  • Serve as a multi-source data analyst engaging in the complex technical research, analysis, interpretation, and assessment of information obtained and processed from one or more intelligence sources in support of the acquisition life cycle and customer requirements with emphasis on Air Force and DoD programs/systems acquisition activities and leads teams/projects supporting MAJCOM, Air Force, and DoD acquisition processes and programs
  • Evaluate both classified and unclassified information to understand U.S./coalition and adversary strengths, weaknesses, and centers of gravity
  • Provide analysis of current and proposed weapon systems, technologies, and programs to determine optimum intelligence and risk management solutions, document requirements, and identify supporting intelligence infrastructure requirements necessary to successfully acquire, upgrade, and/or employ Air Force capabilities
  • Provide analytical support to aspects of the requirements process, the acquisition process, and/or the Planning, Programming, Budget, and Execution (PPBE) process in support of Air Force research, testing, requirements, and sustainment enterprises
  • Develop thorough awareness of the weapon system's planned modes of operation, to include the utilization of all subsystems and weapons, primarily through study of the concept of operation (CONOPS), requirements documentation, and system specifications
  • Team with engineering, scientific, information technology, and operational research personnel to apply analytical techniques of science, management, electronics, and systems engineering to perform supply chain risk analysis of intelligence requirements for planned weapon system/capability research and development, testing, life-cycle management, modernization, and sustainment
  • Maintain the integrity and standardization of SCRM/Program Protection integrated products by closely coordinating with other analysts/teams, ensuring the use of recommended analytical methodologies, standards, and approaches. Coordinates an integrated process to meet timelines and accuracy requirements of ground, air, space, and cyberspace requirements
  • Interact with the program's/project's design and development specialists through a variety of ways; including participation in: Integrated Product Teams, High Performance Teams, Analysis of Alternatives studies, Threat Support Groups, Technology and Engineering Reviews, Supply Chain Risk Management Working Groups, Program Protection Working Groups (PPWGs), Anti-Tamper (AT) Planning Development, Critical Program Information (CPI) Analysis, Critical Component (CC) Analysis, Fix, Form, Fit, Modernization Efforts, and other forums as appropriate
