About the position
We are the world market leader for reusable packaging containers (RPCs) for fresh food and are constantly optimizing our products. We help make the food supply cycle for the population more sustainable. With our RPCs, safety for food transport is improved, there is less waste of food and at the same time the lifespan of the products increases. Through our products and the need for less packaging materials we reduce the carbon footprint. The role of the Project Manager is to plan, execute and finalize projects according to identified timelines and within budget. This includes coordinating resources and efforts of the team members and third-party contractors in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will also assist in creating and updating functional SOPs, identifying process improvements and assisting others in creating efficiencies.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate process improvement projects including task list, timelines, milestones, and key responsible parties and impacted systems
- Determine frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas
- Prepare project PowerPoint presentations for scheduled status meetings
- Create SOPs and supporting documentation
- Direct and manage the label reporting process to include authorized labels, label process coordination and reporting
- Manage inbound RPC count process
- Assist in ensuring transactional integrity in current and future SAP processes
- Improve accuracy, timeliness, and frequency of data collection
- Serve as Super User for SAP
- Improve visibility and penetration of specific modules
- Simplify access & ease of use
- Train new associates on expanded functionalities
- Develop weekly and monthly KPI reporting for all relevant metrics
- Cross train with select Finance staff to provide backup and support
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Accounting, or Finance required
- Project Management Certification a plus
- 5+ years of relevant experience related to project management
- Experience leading multi-department project lasting 6+ months (operational and IT focused)
- Advanced proficiency with project management software required
- Proficiency with SAP and other ERP system experience strongly desired
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and constraints
- Detail oriented and highly organized
- Flexible and resourceful
- Computer literacy required, including proficiency in standard business applications included in Microsoft Office Suite
