About The Position

The Project Manager for Transmission Lines and Substation will function in a project manager capacity. You will own the bottom-line for services projects encompassing HV, MV, LV, underground, and overhead transmission lines. There is also potential to own projects in distribution, private networks, and BESS. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Execute projects that have substantial impact within various communities Own a diversity of projects within the electric grid space including both innovative and proven technologies Please note: This role has 10% travel to project sites.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

  • 10+ years of relevant industry experience including high-voltage, medium-voltage, and low-voltage substations.
  • Experience in multiple phases of project execution.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant degree.
  • PE, P.Eng or equivalent professional license.

Responsibilities

  • Actively promotes the safety culture.
  • Responds to RFPs and prepares proposals for services work.
  • Leads project team in conceptual design and procurement phases of substation projects.
  • Manages schedule, budget, and scope of services projects.
  • Interfaces between the client, external stakeholders, and internal stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Ability to work in both a corporate and field environment.
