About The Position

This role is for a Structural Engineer / Project Lead to support the growth of the Dallas office. It is designed for an engineer ready for a leadership track, capable of owning projects, engaging with clients, and contributing to high-quality structural design from concept through construction. The portfolio includes multifamily, mixed-use, commercial, and hospitality developments. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with architects, developers, and firm leadership in a fast-paced environment, directly impacting project outcomes.

Requirements

5–6+ years of structural engineering experience
Demonstrated experience leading or managing projects
Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering required
Civil Engineering degree considered with strong structural experience
PE license preferred; candidates actively pursuing licensure will be considered
Proficiency with structural design software, AutoCAD, and Revit
Strong communication skills with client-facing experience
U.S. citizenship required

Nice To Haves

Experience in commercial, multifamily, or large-scale residential projects preferred
Wood design experience is a plus
Familiarity with the Texas market is a plus

Responsibilities

Lead structural engineering projects from initial design through construction administration
Perform and oversee structural analysis, calculations, and design development
Produce and review complete construction document packages
Coordinate with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure project alignment
Act as a primary point of contact for clients and external stakeholders
Mentor junior engineers (EITs) and technical staff
Contribute to project delivery standards and support the growth of the Dallas office
