This role partners with operations, maintenance, vendors, and contractors to deliver projects safely, on schedule, and within budget. The Project Manager supports new installations, upgrades, repairs, and site improvements involving conveyors, sortation systems, and other facility assets. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • At least 3 years of project management experience in industrial, logistics, manufacturing, warehouse automation, or related environments
  • Experience with AutoCAD, MS Project, or similar design and scheduling software
  • Experience with project budgeting, cost tracking, and estimating
  • Experience coordinating vendors, contractors, and project schedules
  • Working knowledge of blueprints, layouts, and technical drawings
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • You prioritize safety and apply strong awareness of occupational hazards and precautions in every phase of project execution.
  • You manage multiple projects and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining schedule and budget discipline.
  • You bring strong budgeting, forecasting, and estimating skills, staying on top of cost tracking, change orders, and financial performance.
  • You communicate clearly and manage vendors effectively, keeping stakeholders aligned on status, risks, and next steps.
  • You solve problems quickly and make sound decisions, working independently while also collaborating smoothly with teams across operating and non-operating hours.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP certification preferred
  • Experience with conveyor systems, automated material handling, or sortation equipment preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead safe project execution: Maintain and contribute to a safe work environment by following policies and procedures outlined in the Company Safety Program.
  • Define scope and build the plan: Establish scope, milestones, schedule, budget, and resource needs; prepare estimates, review proposals, and support vendor selection.
  • Coordinate delivery with minimal disruption: Align internal stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers to execute installations, upgrades, and repairs while minimizing operational impact.
  • Manage technical reviews and schedules: Review drawings, layouts, and technical documents using AutoCAD (or similar), and manage project timelines in MS Project (or equivalent).
  • Control costs, change, and risk, keep leadership informed: Track costs, change orders, risks, and budget performance; provide regular updates on status, timeline, and financials.
  • Drive commissioning through closeout and documentation: Support commissioning/startup, turnover, and closeout; ensure permits, as-builts, documentation, and turnover packages are complete and accurate; assist with capital planning and prioritization of site improvements as needed.
