About The Position

The Project Manager is responsible for managing several small to medium-scale projects and ensuring that all projects are aligned with organizations and departments strategic priorities. The Project Manager works with a wide variety of audiences across the organization (Examples include: Instructional Designers, Media, and Assessment).

Requirements

  • At least 3 years experience in Project Management.
  • Knowledge and application of project management principles.
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite applications, as well as Smartsheet or similar project management software; excellent Excel/Sheets skills.
  • Demonstration of project management experience under tight deadlines, with emphasis being placed on individual's ability to successfully manage projects and utilize leadership and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent ability to organize time, attention to detail, and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to express oneself effectively within groups and in one-to-one conversations.
  • Strong mental acuity.

Responsibilities

  • Work with departments/stakeholders on approved projects to determine goals/requirements, scope, and timeline needed to facilitate and coordinate project deliverables.
  • Communicate with project teams, contractors, and vendors to verify that there is a clear understanding of project outcomes and timelines.
  • Manage the end-to-end process of projects; from start to launch.
  • Manage the day-to-day details of projects including the plan, schedule, resources, task assignments, scope, issues, and risks.
  • Track progress and monitor all development activities.
  • Organize and facilitate project meetings.
  • Brief the project team and leadership on status, problem resolution, feedback, and input from the team on project planning and execution.
  • Assist with capacity management.
  • Plan and ensure resources will be available when needed; adapt resource planning to changing project needs.
  • Adhere to company project methodology.
  • Maintain documentation such as the original plans, process documentation, status reports, meeting minutes, issue logs and any other documentation related to the management and administration of the project.
  • Fulfill all other duties/tasks consistent with the goals of this position as determined by the Sr. Program Manager.
