About The Position

The Senior Project Manager provides the coordination, direction, and implementation of all projects across the Marketing department. This position includes maintaining the team’s efficiency, effectiveness, and resource optimization for marketing projects to include project intake, prioritization, vetting, team assignments, project execution and on time deliverables. The Project Manager is responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. This position will plan and designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed the entire way. Pay Range: $84,000 - $111,000

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in project management, marketing, or related field (required)
  • Minimum five (5) years working as a project manager or in a project leadership role (required)
  • Strong experience in marketing and/or project management and implementation of integrated, multi-media campaign with tracking
  • Experience managing technical projects and/or print/creative projects
  • Able and willing to: Communicate, think, learn, and reason
  • Use computers and computer systems (including hardware and software) to process transactions, store documents, enter data, or perform assigned tasks
  • Safely ambulate and/or maneuver when on-site at Company locations
  • Demonstrate and utilize active listening, inductive reasoning, information ordering and category flexibility
  • Ability to use good judgment, problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information with discretion
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where deadlines are essential and multiple projects are worked simultaneously
  • Ability to gain, understand and apply information and data as it relates essential functions of the position
  • Ability to foster long-term relationships with stakeholders

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with implementing and administering key processes and project management in a multi matrix organization (preferred)
  • Experience in education and/or technical training (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Lead project management functions for the marketing/student acquisition team to support the Company’s lead acquisition and enrollment goals
  • Plan and manage multiple complex technical projects to ensure on-time delivery of products
  • Facilitate kick off meetings, project planning, and solutioning meetings
  • Determine and define project scope and objectives
  • Develop and maintain project plans and project documentation to drive efficiency
  • Drive on-time delivery of project including business case, requirements, project planning, testing, and implementation
  • Run project data and analytics for workload optimization to improve overall team efficiencies
  • Create and deliver monthly team utilization reports
  • Identify and resolve issues that may negatively impact a project or project deliverables to ensure on-time delivery and product quality
  • Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manages resources in an effective and efficient manner
  • Drive continuous process improvement that allow the team to become more effective and efficient
  • Lead project communication efforts to drive transparency and grow trust
  • Conduct regular project reviews to help improve overall team performance
  • Initiate cross-team and cross-department communication to drive transparency and trust
  • Give regular project status updates
  • Escalate unresolved issues to Senior management
  • Serve as expert for the project management platform (MS Project)
  • Manage vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
  • Other duties as assigned
