This Opportunity POWER Engineers, Member of WSP, is currently initiating a search for a Project Manager (PM) for our Power Delivery NERC compliance team. This position is posted in multiple office locations with the ability to work remotely from a mutually acceptable location. Be involved in projects with our Electrical Studies, SCADA, and Protection Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our clients' objectives and solves their challenges. Your Impact The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for working with our project management team, engineering teams, and directly with clients to manage business development among existing and new clients targeting NERC compliance services. Depending on candidate experience, responsibilities can include a mix of project engineering (technical team leadership), project management, or project execution (engineering). Project Management duties include leading the financial aspects of power delivery projects, managing and developing client relationships, and marketing POWER's power delivery services to existing and new clients in those same markets. Oversee and monitor cross-functional teams of technical professionals and subject matter experts to execute project work on mid-level and/or multiple concurrent projects, including budgets, tracking hours and expenses, task completion, cost and quantities of materials/equipment/labor, deliverables, compliance documentation, and managing the contractual obligations to deliver the project(s) as defined in the contract. Lead the development of project proposals, cost estimates, scope, schedules, and resource plans. Maintain regular communications with the client including reporting on monthly status, safety incidents, and major issues together with scope and budget impacts. Provide regular project reporting and updates to clients, technical area, and business unit managers, identifying any emergent issues with scope, risk, and/or budget. Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources, and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures. Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
