As a project manager senior, in the Partner Resources business operation, planning and PMO you will play a significant role in leading and delivering critical priorities across the HR business. This role will be a part of a team of project management professionals and will have the opportunity to manage a variety of project types (process, technology, etc) that span across different functional HR fields. As a project manager senior, you will PMO Delivery & Continuous Improvement Drive complex, cross-functional enterprise projects, leading multiple efforts simultaneously across globally distributed teams. Autonomously and appropriately apply project management knowledge, processes, skills, tools, and techniques to project activities in order to meet project and program goals. Advance the role of a project manager sr. by contributing to the development of standards, processes, tools, and training to support the development of core project management competencies based on industry & coffeehouse support best practices. Prioritizing & Planning Drive to understand and communicate how the project's goals align to the business unit, functional area and/or company goals and strategies. Decide and act without having the total picture by thoughtfully balancing risk and uncertainty. Collaboration & Communication Champion and drive decision making across multiple cross functional teams and senior leaders that favors alignment. Develop and nurture cohesive teams committed to working together and completing projects to the best of their ability. Connect with other project managers & mentor partners who are looking to grow their skills in how to effectively manage projects. We'd love to hear from people with: 5+ years of project management, including all elements of scope, time, cost, risk, quality, integration, procurement, human resources, and communications 5 years managing complex large-scale or multiple mid-size projects 5 years building and mentoring teams 2 years mentoring other project managers in program and project management 5 years general business experience in large, matrixed organizations Education - 4-year degree preferred, PMP considered As a Starbucks partner, you (and your family) will have access to medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance, and other voluntary insurance benefits. Requirements

  • 5+ years of project management, including all elements of scope, time, cost, risk, quality, integration, procurement, human resources, and communications
