Be our next Project Manager / Senior Landscape Designer Your work environment at EXP In this role, you will be a part of the Transportation and Infrastructure Practice. You will have the opportunity to work within a growing team to deliver planning, design and construction oversight support for a wide variety of urban and rural infrastructure projects for roads, bridges, rail, transit and aviation projects. You will also support landscape architecture work for other practices within the Central US and across North America. What a day at EXP has in store for you Commence work on projects at the concept design phase, develop creative designs that work well with the client’s vision. The role includes working through all development phases; conceptual through approvals, inspection and close out Responsible in development of construction specifications, contract administration and site review for execution of the built work Develop site design concepts and analyze site layouts in digital and hand-illustrated formats. Deliver creative solutions and design material that communicate design intent to clients and staff Conduct tree inventory and investigations. Develop tree protection plans that include drawings and reports Provide project development through relationships, vision, and leveraging in-house expertise Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including civil engineers, urban planners, and architects. Participate in public engagement efforts and stakeholder meetings as needed. Ensure designs comply with local, state, and federal transportation standards and guidelines. Prepare and support grant applications by compiling technical content, project benefits, and funding requirements. Research funding opportunities and program criteria to strengthen grant and proposal submissions. Manage contracts, including scopes, deliverables, and coordination. Support business development through proposal input, pursuit materials, and client outreach. Assist with project budgeting by contributing to cost estimates, tracking hours, and supporting fee development. Help with project scheduling, task coordination, and monitoring progress against milestones. Meet with Accounting to track project budgets Meet with clients to discuss projects and progress Coordinate with project managers to keep contract, budget, and schedule information accurate and up to date. Participate in conferences and attend networking events as appropriate
