Your work environment at EXP EXP is currently searching for a Project Manager/Senior Electrical Engineer for our Denver, Colorado office. This position will lead exciting projects across the United States for Hospitality, Entertainment, Heathcare and Life Sciences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering from an ABET accredited program
  • 10+ years Electrical design experience
  • Registered Professional Engineer in State of Denver required.
  • 7+ years of hospitality facility, Healthcare and Life Sciences or Hospitality design

Responsibilities

  • Identify, research, and qualify RFP/ RFQ’s and upcoming projects for go/no go potential
  • Direct and lead submittals in response to RFP/ RFQ’s.
  • Manage existing and develop new client relationships
  • Perform at a ‘responsible charge’ level; meeting exp’s design and quality levels
  • Manage work plans and deliverables on multiple projects within budgeted hours
  • Work with project team and clients to meet scheduled project milestones on multiple projects
  • Apply risk management procedures daily to minimize exp’s and client’s exposure to problems
  • Understand MEP/FP work planning and manage design process to the available hours in work plan
  • Understand proper scope of MEP/FP SD, DD, CD level documents – and deliver appropriate documentation
  • Coordinates with other disciplines (MEP/FP, architectural, structural, etc)
  • Edit and develop scope of work narratives (SD narrative, basis of design, etc)
  • Develop equipment room sizes during SD and DD phases
  • Thorough knowledge of Electrical codes
  • Be able to direct and mentor designer level staff on all of their responsibilities on a daily basis
  • QA/QC reviews of all calculations by designers, and provide guidance and mentoring
