About The Position
The Project manager will oversee various maintenance project responsibilities. This role involves performing on-site project management and quality assurance support services, reviewing and scoping Facility Engineering Work Requests (FEWRs), and providing direct control over all day-to-day aspects of the contract. The Project Manager exercises broad latitude for independent judgment and discretion without direct or intermediate supervision. They will communicate customer needs, suggestions, and opinions to appropriate corporate staff, serving as the primary link between the customer and the company. The Project Manager will ensure that all emergencies are responded to immediately, implement the Quality Control (QC) Program, conduct inspections to assure that quality and performance are in conformance with the QC Plan, and implement systematic and effective operational techniques and workflow procedures that will enhance efficiency and quality. Additionally, they will produce reports and maintain records of all inspections performed, interpret contract specifications, initiate and complete change order requests, provide training suggestions to the Operations Manager, establish and maintain an effective cost control system, manage project expenditures within authorized budget limits, ensure site compliance with training and safety requirements, and establish personnel performance objectives while monitoring results.
