About The Position

Are you passionate about renewable energy and excited by complex, multi-stakeholder projects? As a Project Manager at Resonant Energy you'll guide solar projects from initial development through successful installation, managing multiple concurrent projects to deliver clean energy solutions on time and on budget for communities across Massachusetts. What You'll Do: You'll manage multiple solar projects from design through commissioning, managing everything from site evaluations and feasibility analysis to system commissioning and handoff. Your day-to-day involves managing project timelines and budgets, coordinating site evaluations, negotiating agreements with installation partners, and guiding projects through permitting and utility interconnection. You'll facilitate stakeholder meetings, troubleshoot installation challenges, and ensure quality standards while maintaining clear communication with clients throughout the process. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or comparable industry experience or relevant vocational training given equal weight
  • 5+ years in professional environment managing multiple concurrent technical projects or 3+ years managing technical projects paired with 1+ year solar development
  • Client-facing or account management experience with demonstrated ability to build relationships and manage expectations
  • Ability to use Google Workspace products
  • Proficiency in either Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to use a Macbook/Apple OS
  • Native or fluent English language skills
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects through development and construction phases while maintaining timelines and budgets
  • Ability to coordinate across diverse stakeholders and facilitate meetings that drive clear action and accountability
  • Ability to build and manage client relationships while maintaining project continuity from earlier sales team commitments
  • Ability to collaborate with design teams using AutoCAD and architectural drawings to optimize equipment placement and roof integration
  • Ability to identify root causes and solve problems independently by analyzing challenges, developing creative solutions, and taking preventive action before issues escalate
  • Ability to escalate complex issues effectively by bringing problems to leadership with sufficient context and proposed solutions
  • Ability to track budgets and timelines accurately using project management tools while setting realistic deadlines based on project constraints
  • Ability to provide clear, actionable feedback to contractors that improves deliverable quality and maintains accountability to project standards
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with frequent context-switching, multiple external stakeholders, and changing project conditions

Nice To Haves

  • Direct solar project development or construction management experience
  • Experience on construction sites and familiarity with OSHA compliance
  • Experience with submitting RFPs and competitive bidding
  • Experience with project estimation, budgeting, and cash flow management
  • NABCEP Associate (or higher) certification
  • PMP certification
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or other comparable CRM
  • Advanced in either Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel
