About The Position

RISE is seeking a Project Manager for Residential efficiency projects in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. The ideal candidate has exceptional organizational skills and a history of marshaling mechanical and electrical projects from start to finish on-schedule and on-budget while maintaining quality standards and customer satisfaction. Experience in designing and costing systems, specifying HVAC equipment, managing subcontractors and troubleshooting is required. This position is based in Cranston, RI and includes day-trip travel to project sites in MA and RI. It reports to the Residential HVAC Manager. The selected individual will work within systems and processes in place at RISE to perform job functions.

Requirements

  • At least 3-5 years’ project coordination experience for mechanical measures in residential buildings.
  • In-depth knowledge of residential mechanical equipment and terminology
  • Proficiency with Windows-based computer applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Bachelor’s degree. Other combinations of education, training and experience in lieu of Bachelor’s degree will be evaluated on an individual basis.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage workload with minimal supervision.
  • Problem solver capable of working through issues quickly and effectively.
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to travel to job sites throughout MA or RI as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • CEM, CEA, LEED AP, PMP and/or other relevant professional certification.
  • Professional licenses such Mechanical, Sheet Metal, Refrigeration, Plumbing, Electrical
  • Experience working with utilities, energy-efficiency companies and/or installation contracting firms to secure available incentives for energy end-users.

Responsibilities

  • Manage development and implementation of multiple projects concurrently.
  • Perform in-field project HVAC development work in support of sales staff as required, including development of implementation costs.
  • Procure and track materials as required, and secure appropriate installation resources.
  • Perform in-progress and final inspections of contracted projects.
  • Ensure consistent adherence to company and industry standards.
  • Quickly and efficiently resolve any installation, craftsmanship, warranty, customer service or other issues.
  • Work with operations and billing department to ensure timely, accurate invoicing.
