About The Position

The Project Manager role is essential for overseeing construction and roofing projects, ensuring timely and quality installations while directly supervising contractors and crews. This position involves engaging with customers on-site to address their needs and concerns, as well as performing various construction-related tasks.

Requirements

• Good mathematical, reading, and time management skills.
• Basic knowledge of South Carolina Building Code.
• Ability to lift shingles, handle ladders, and get on a roof comfortably.
• Experience using mobile apps and email on a smartphone or iPad is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Installation experience with shingles, siding, gutters, or fascia is a huge plus.
• Good attendance and a good driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in construction (1 year preferred).

Responsibilities

• Supervise the activities of construction/roofing contractors and crews.
• Perform construction and roofing related trade work.
• Facilitate timely and quality installation of all assigned roofing projects.
• Engage with customers regarding their needs and concerns on site.
• Complete and maintain proper daily paperwork including timesheets, supervisor notes, check-lists, and expenses.
• Take detailed photos of the work before, during, and after completion.
• Solve unforeseen dilemmas and problems on the jobsite as they occur.
• Check delivered materials onsite for correctness and ensure all materials are present.
• Maintain professional public relations with customers and subcontractors.
• Conduct final walk-through with customers when jobs are completed.
