About The Position

We are looking for a Project Manager I to support the execution of commercial renewable energy and distributed energy infrastructure projects. This role focuses on coordinating project activities, managing documentation, and supporting construction and engineering teams to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working across engineering, construction, and client stakeholders. This position offers the opportunity to develop project leadership skills while supporting complex commercial energy and infrastructure projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 2+ years of experience supporting construction or technical infrastructure projects
  • Understanding of construction workflows including permitting, subcontractor coordination, and project scheduling
  • Familiarity with building systems and trades including MEP coordination
  • Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and project scheduling platforms
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly with internal teams, contractors, and clients
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting commercial renewable energy or infrastructure projects
  • Familiarity with construction financial tracking, forecasting, and billing processes
  • Experience working with project management platforms such as Smartsheet, MS Project, or similar tools
  • Exposure to subcontractor coordination and construction documentation processes

Responsibilities

  • Support planning and execution of commercial energy and infrastructure projects from pre-construction through closeout
  • Coordinate project documentation including contracts, permits, inspections, and project records
  • Track project schedules, milestones, and deliverables to maintain timeline alignment
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, and monthly billing coordination
  • Support procurement processes including subcontractor coordination and material purchasing
  • Participate in construction meetings and coordinate communication between project stakeholders
  • Manage RFIs, change orders, and project documentation workflows
  • Support pre-construction activities including scope coordination and bid documentation
  • Maintain project reporting and status updates using project management systems and collaboration tools
  • Assist with project closeout documentation and final deliverables
