About The Position

Emerson is seeking a Project Manager to lead enterprise-wide initiatives that span regulatory compliance, cybersecurity, product development, and operational efficiency. This role will manage a portfolio of cross-functional projects involving engineering, quality, legal, compliance, and product management teams. The Project Manager will be responsible for building and executing project plans, establishing governance frameworks, and driving stakeholder alignment. A current focus includes supporting compliance with the EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), but the role is designed to flex across evolving business priorities and regulatory landscapes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
  • Five (5) or more years of experience in project management, preferably in manufacturing, engineering, or regulatory environments
  • Strong working knowledge of project management principles, tools, and practices
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage initiatives
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Must be willing to travel as needed (estimated 10%)
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role

Nice To Haves

  • PMP certification
  • Experience with EU regulatory frameworks (e.g., CE Marking, IEC 62443, NIS2, CRA)
  • Familiarity with industrial automation or process instrumentation
  • Proficiency in project planning tools a plus

Responsibilities

  • Project Execution: Develop and execute project plans, align stakeholders, define requirements, and maintain schedules.
  • Governance & Change Management: Establish governance standards, manage scope and schedule changes, and ensure project documentation is up to date.
  • Performance & Risk Management: Assess project performance, manage risks with mitigation strategies, and document high-level risks.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration: Build team cohesion, foster relationships, and resolve conflicts to achieve consensus.
  • Strategic Alignment & Global Perspective: Translate regulatory requirements into actionable plans, monitor developments, and apply global awareness.
  • Training & Standards Development: Provide training, promote best practices, and contribute to global project management refinement.
