We're hiring a Project Manager with a strong background in rail and civil design to join our Rocky Hill office. This role is part of our Rail department and offers the opportunity to lead high-profile projects across Connecticut and New England at all stages-from conception to construction. You'll be responsible for managing assigned projects throughout their full lifecycle, including developing scopes and technical sections of proposals, participating in contract negotiations, and overseeing project delivery to meet HNTB's 4 for 4 performance goals: delivering quality work, on time, on budget, and to the client's satisfaction. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in the planning and design of complex rail infrastructure, including track alignments, interlockings, and civil site improvements. You'll proactively manage budgets, schedules, technical requirements, contractual obligations, and client communications to support project objectives. In addition to high-level technical tasks, you'll review and manage design-related specifications, calculations, reports, and plans, while coordinating with internal and external partners to resolve design-related issues. You'll play a key role in signature projects such as the New Haven-Hartford-Springfield (Hartford Line), Union Station rail improvements, and major initiatives across New York and Massachusetts. Whether leading strategic projects under $1M or serving as a discipline lead on mini-mega projects up to $5M, you'll be part of a dynamic environment where your expertise will directly shape the future of transit infrastructure in the region.
