About The Position

Fessler & Bowman, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to lead Project Teams in the successful completion of construction projects from the initial hand-off from Estimating through final completion and close-out. The Project Manager will be responsible for overall project planning and scheduling, resource allocation, project accounting, and control, while providing technical direction and ensuring compliance with quality standards and applicable laws and regulations. The role involves conducting project start-up and close-out meetings, maintaining accurate project budgets, ensuring timely processing of accounts receivable and payable, managing prime contracts and change orders, and collaborating with field operations to achieve budgeted profitability.

Requirements

• A Bachelor of Science in Engineering preferred, or equivalent in training and experience.
• At least five (5) years of relatable construction experience.
• Creative and results-oriented, with a strong sense of urgency and self-motivation.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with an adaptable and flexible style.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Project Start-Up 2 weeks prior to the start of the project and Project Close-Out meetings within 45 days of completion.
• Create, maintain, and close out accurate project budgets that track financial performance.
• Ensure timely processing of project A/R and A/P requirements in conjunction with corporate financial team support.
• Ensure budgeted profitability is achieved on every project by collaborating with field operations.
• Manage the prime contract and prime contract change orders.
