The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects according to strict deadlines, budget requirements, and scope. This role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams. A successful candidate will leverage PMP best practices to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and aligned with organizational goals.

  • Developing comprehensive project plans including scope, timelines, deliverables, and resource needs.
  • Leading project kickoff meetings, defining objectives, and aligning expectations with stakeholders.
  • Managing project scope using approved change control processes.
  • Ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and complying with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinating cross-functional teams and assigning responsibilities based on skill sets and workload.
  • Facilitating communication and collaboration across departments.
  • Monitoring team performance and providing coaching or escalation support as needed.
  • Identifying potential project risks and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Maintaining a project risk register and updating leadership on potential impacts.
  • Resolving issues promptly and escalating when necessary to avoid project delays.
  • Developing and managing project budgets, providing regular forecasting and variance reporting.
  • Optimizing resource allocation to achieve project milestones within budget constraints.
  • Maintaining clear, consistent communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Providing regular project status updates, dashboards, and executive summaries.
  • Facilitating stakeholder approval at critical project phases.
  • Maintaining accurate and organized project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Preparing and delivering post-project reviews, lessons learned, and process improvements.
  • Ensuring compliance with PMO standards and PMP methodologies.
  • Possesses an active PMP certification and is in good standing, required.
  • Has 3–7 years of project management experience required.
  • Can demonstrate a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Holds a strong understanding of project management tools (MS Project, Monday.com, Smartsheet, etc.).
  • Can display excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Is able to utilize their experience working in manufacturing and engineering.
  • Has Lean/Six Sigma training or certification.
  • Is comfortable managing complex cross-departmental initiatives.
